“Snap out of it!” GLaDOS hissed. “If you don’t get moving, he’ll catch us before we can even get to him.”

Chell shook off the fleeting thoughts. How foolish she had been to even trust him once before. Now he was trying to kill her with a spikey metal plate. They were going to have to storm into his lair, which was incredibly risky considering they had absolutely no plan whatsoever. Chell knew she would have to destroy her once ‘friend’. Perhaps she could save him… He was just a little moron gone power hungry. She nodded, trying to fool herself into thinking she could save the corrupted AI. She couldn’t give up on him, not after he saved her life once.

“The next room is his. Are you ready? Because I definitely am not.” GLaDOS was overwhelmed with doubt. “We’re going to die either way. Let’s get to it.”

Chell sprinted into the middle of the room. She couldn’t see anything around her, it was pitch black. No doubt Wheatley was hiding. But where? The lights snapped on, and a dark, ominous laugh filled the room.
