Okay, so there's been plenty of humanized versions of the cores floating around the net. I'm cool with that, but what bugs me is that none of them seem to do the cores justice (maybe I'm not looking hard enough?)
Basically, I want gritty, realistic cores. Anger and Space, for instance, shouldn't be cute as humans; they should be FUCKED UP, for Christ's sake! Therefore anon humbly requests fic (art would be nice, if anyone can manage it) of realistic human cores. How do they function in society? Do they scare children? Are any of them in the mental ward? Satisfy my morbid curiosity, please.

“Uh-huh. Well, Rick, that’s all the cards---”

“What score did I get?”

“Excuse me?”

“You know. Did I get them all right?”

“Ah, you see, its not about scores. The answer can be anything you like---”
