Addendum: I found out this morning when I tried to do a load that the rubber hose has a hole in it too. I'll try duct tape for now, but I am afraid it's going to need replacing. Unless anybody knows a way to patch a rubber flex tube?

Why doesn't Bruce fix your major appliances? I didn't think there was anything he couldn't do. ;)

Bruce did help me a bit, he was able to get the wire clamp back in place for me. But he's not the type to attempt a new thing all by himself. Did I tell you it took him and his friend Doug a month of thought and poking holes in the ceiling until I got mad and put up the ceiling fan by myself?
