that is awesome! :) but keep your options open for daycare later - once he becomes mobile... it'll be hard to take him to work (the pack-n-play just wont cut it, trust me!) :)

I'm thinking about getting one of those "pen" things? putting toys in there if the job is still part-time at that point. I have a feeling it won't be part-time for long and when it becomes full-time, I will bring him to daycare in the AM and maybe bring him to the office with me in the afternoon. The place he goes now is awesome and I think I would be able to bring him back there.

i think it will really depend on his temperment when he actually becomes mobile :) and what the set up is like at work. you might want to contact some "work at home" moms, because that will kind of be your situation. see how they make it work - working with a little dude to look after :)

if you can make it work - it definitely sounds ideal!

i know that once caleb could roll/scoot/crawl he wanted to investigate everything (which is important for learning). he'd flip his lid when i put him in the PNP to run to the bathroom (the only safe way to go! LOL) so i know he wouldnt do well for longer than a few minutes. but patrick might be a mellow and easy going kid... you may be one of the lucky ones!! :)

ooo... or you could time it around nap time. so that you could get there, feed him, put him down and get tons of work done while he slept most of the time. :)
