I just got back from Montreal a few hours ago. It's the farthest I've ever been from the U.S. The architecture was amazing and the restaurants were great. I actually went to mass in a small chapel in the back of Notre Dame basilica. I knew that it was bound to happen, but I still flipped out when I went to the Phantom of the Opera page on ffnet (for the first time in months) only to find that it had been over run by fics about the new movie. I got back from Steph's birthday party a couple of hours ago. It was fun, except that her oldest friend insulted most of my interests, from Phantom of the Opera to foreign movies, and I didn't get any sleep. The latter wasn't exactly unexpected, though.
