I truly regret that an individual with the sheer determination and unsurpassed dedication that you have in such generous quantities must be beset by adherents like the other, less committed members of your team. However, if I might suggest, the top of Gryffindor Tower is such an over-rated option for the disposal of a human life. I wonder if it would be possible to entice you into one of the courtyards for a chat, as I do not wish to see such potential wasted by a poorly-thought-out jump into eternity.

Peak is a noun defined as "the point of greatest development, value, or intensity."

Pique is a verb that means "to provoke or arouse."

Quite obviously the correct word for the situation would be "pique," not "peak." I trust that this information will serve you well in the future. I also would suggest that you consult one of the many vocabulary-enriching tomes that reside in the hallowed halls of our library.
