Threadjacking this character - yes, no, or MWAHAHA YOU ARE DOOMED?: Go for it! I LOVE when people threadjack! But make sure whoever else your interrupting doesn’t mind.
Backdating threads/logs/doom?: Yes, yes and oh yes. Backdating is totally cool, because I get it when RL totally throws you under a bus.
Hugging the life out of this character?: If you dare. Armstrong will return the hug and he will probably break your spine. It’s YOUR spine and YOUR risk.

Starting a ‘more than friends’ relationship with this character?: Dear god no. I don’t think my mind could handle it. Sorry. . . But I just CAN’T play Armstrong THAT way. At all.
Beating the every living crap out of this character (and them being able to fight back or not): GO for it! I love abusing the heck out of my character and won’t say no. Keep in mind, Armstrong is TALL and MUSCULAR. He also has his sparkles, which could probably be classified as a weapon,a distraction, or some sort of psycic weapon of terror.
Lotta pain and permanent injury?: What part about ‘I love abusing the heck out of my character’ makes you think I’d say no? This is one, however, that I really would like a note about your plotting ideas. We can talk it over, and if I am feeling particularly sadistic, I’m probably say yes to the initial idea.

Is there anything you need us to KNOW about interacting with this character? Special physical features, fighting abilities, STUFF: He’s big, emotional, and has a tendency to take off his shirt. His alchemist gauntlets will not appear with him, but will show up later. With his ability, he can help you make new houses/repair houses/ etc.

Fourthwalling?: As long as the REST of the FMA cast has no problem, I don’t care. Because if you fourthwall Armstrong, he will inadvertently fourthwall the rest of the FMA cast. That’s just how he is.
