What a beautiful, bittersweet, achy story! Chekhovian, if you don't mind me saying so. Your Ginny and Harry are both so lovely and yet so deeply imperfect, and their pushmepullyou dance toward reconnection seemed perfect.

I loved the flash of Harry-who-might-have-been at the end--a Harry who only Ginny is truly capable of seeing, since everyone else sees him from the outside except Ron and Hermione, and they're just as caught up in his destiny as he is.

I think, though, that I loved the farewell between Ginny and Ron the best, though. :-)

Just reread this.

It's still gorgeous. :-)

*That* was awesome. I never really got Harry/Ginny, but that really helped. That was beautiful. Thank you so much!

It was hot and swollen beneath her thumb. It kept her awake, that dumb strange thing, that lay there like a serpent buried beneath his skin. When she finally fell asleep, unconsciously she kept her hand there on his forehead, covering the scar, as though simply through the force of wanting, she could make it disappear.

Simply amazing work, as always.  You really capture Harry's intensity perfectly, and you write Ginny so well.  Bravo. ♥

So gorgeous. Harry and Ginny are both so beautifully flawed and achy. This line especially stood out for me: She wanted to go forever, to collide with him awkwardly like this a thousand times, to have a million years or even a few more days to kiss him like this, and feel him like this, all of his sweaty skin pressed tightly against hers. Great job!

Great job, again -- you already know how much I love this, especially that letting him go is really the only thing she can do. *smooches you*
