Ohio was the awesome for Thanksgiving. I think I ate for 5 hours straight on the day of... which is utterly fantastic! The kids are all big and silly and fun to be around. Played Rock Band. Things that crack me up about my mom:

(1) She refers to her savings as her "slush fund" although she doesn't drink.

(2) An how she describes movies to me that she thinks I'll love (mind you I get my love of bad movies from her): "...you'll love the severed leg that hops around then jumps into a drawer...and disembodied boobs flying around."

I forgot to mention a smell issue we had at our place a week or so ago. So when I had a bunch of girls over my place to hang out, I was the only one who did not chain smoke for hours (because I don't smoke). I just came back from a potluck for my North American Indians class where the class made various Native American dishes. Twas tasty good. (I made tortilla soup, which was an awesome and super easy recipe, btw.) But there was also corn bread, various desserts, etc. Potlucks are fun! School: Dood. I rocked those papers. Finished at 1 am the day they were due LOL. Of course, I don't know how well I did on them. But who cares? Unfortunately, I have a statistics exam this week.
