Dear Father:

Thank you for the wonderful things in my life. Thank you for a friend who loves me unconditionally, through good and bad. Thank you for a lesson in patience, faith and humility. Grant me the strength to push through adversity an make it to the next challenge.

I will ALWAYS love you no matter what. There is nothing in the world that I think is out of your reach. Maybe this is God's way of checking to see if this is what you really want and making you think twice about the decision you are making. I want you to be happy, and I have full faith in that you can do anything you want to. And even if you don't quite reach your goal I will be there for you looking you square in the eyes so you can see a goal that you have already reached right in front of you, which is you have made one girl the happiest girl in the world, because you are such a wonderful and beautiful man.

Hmmmm...perhaps, but I will continue moving and see where it leads. You certainly are a courageous woman to make such statements. I wonder, did you ever surmise that you would say such things before Christmas? Regardless, I look at you and hear your voice, and it only reinforces my faith. After all, when angels live among us, how can I doubt the existence of the divine? When I look into your eyes, I see heaven. For now, I'll be content sitting at its doorstep.
