Hi, it's me again. I'm in bed at this very moment with what is presumably Covid-19. Cool! I self quarantined for the last few weeks, but cheated a little bit here and there, a couple grocery trips (couldn't get pickup), a couple drive-thrus. So now I'm in Ultra Quarantine, where I barely leave my dumb bedroom so Mr. Posh has a fighting chance. ( Read more... )

Dearest, I'm so, so sorry to hear about Scott. I hope you can feel the love from so many people around the world for you right now. I can only imagine how difficult this must be along with everything else going on. I wish I just lived down the street so I could leave a casserole on your front step. I'll be thinking of you, never doubt it.

Poshy! I offer you the only hug acceptable right now, one from 4,000 miles away. I hope that this passes quickly and and with only the mildest symptoms for you. Please let us know how you're doing.

I didn't have "pandemic that halts global society in its tracks" on my 2020 bingo card, and, in retrospect, that seems like an oversight.

Molly May! I think of you so much, and hope things are uneventful in your corner of the world, although that seems impossible to find these days (except if crazy making quarantine boredom counts as uneventful). I'm doing okay, but I'm not better yet. Yesterday I was well enough to make supper, but then I had to lie down and rest before I could eat it haha. Give your cat a hug from me. I'd kill for a cat right now - all I have presently is Mr. Posh.

I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling a little better! Take it easy - a lot of the things I've read say that recovery seems to be a "two steps forward, one step back" kind of thing, so make Mr. Posh do the cooking. As for me, things are actually fairly uneventful. I was (mostly) working from home before all this started, so I was social distancing before it was cool. This morning I went to the grocery store and putting on a mask and gloves before going in was the most excitement I've had in a week, since the last time I went to the grocery store. I feel like I'm either about to rob the place or perform surgery.

Since I can't give you a hug or a cat, I will instead give you a picture of two cats, one of whom is modeling perfect quarantine behavior. Fingers crossed that this picture shows up correctly!
