I have a heart full of rubber bands

It is still like pulling teeth to actually get any words on this page, ugh. All I want to do is listen to music and bake. Or make marmalade. Which I can't do yet, because I don't have a muslin bag for extracting pectin and I don't have cheesecloth to make a temporary bag and I don't have enough empty jars to put it in anyway ( Read more... )

cook with lil, bitches ain't shit, party like it's 1999, gaga supports homosexual, shopping: online, uni: thesis of terror, posh lil is not pleased

Aww, I love Lush! Haven't shopped there in ages, though (I don't even know where the nearest store is) but I love their stuff.

& I hate it when I order something online as a birthday gift or Christmas present or something and it doesn't arrive in time!

Yeah, they're awesome!

It's very frustrating, I know. At least their service was good? I wasn't expecting a reply about it anywhere near that quickly.

Well done Lush! I wish I could walk into your shop without getting a headache, so I could support you supporting marriage equality.

Well that's me not drinking at Gloria Jean's then. I'm already avoiding Max Brenner's. If I find out Starbucks are into anything dodgy I may just neck myself!

Oh, why are you avoiding Max Brenner? I haven't heard anything about them. (Starbucks, as far as I know, are in support of marriage equality, and not doing anything else dodgy, but I hate their coffee)

Sadface about Lush though. I love that store, I spend hours in there.

Also you can have some of my Uni enthusiasm because I go back in two weeks and I get to do 19th Century Literature AND I AM SO GOSH DARN EXCITED but I probably wont be a few weeks in with the workload but WHO CARES.

Also reading that email from Lush made me all warm and beautiful inside ♥ I need to make more of an effort to get there. I have The Body Shop as my local beauty/bath kinda store. I think my nearest Lush is in Penrith which is a good 40 minute drive D:

Well thank god for that, because I NEED IT. (oooh, exciting! I hope it's better than the Victorian lit course Newcastle ran. Basically the only English course of theirs I liked was Shakespeare, which is why I dropped English and became a double Classics major.)

Isn't it wonderful? I was legit crying when I saw it in my inbox, because it's just... oh, I can't even. For a store like that to come out and go "You know what, the marriage debate is intrinsically fucked" is so lovely. I really hope the Kiss and Tell is a success. If Kim's not working, I may go down to our local one and join in. xD (They just opened it up near us, at Charlestown. Prior to that, we had to drive the hour and a half to Tuggerah or Erina, which made me so sad. So Body Shop was pretty much our go-to as well. That or the posh bath section of Myer.)
