Akiha was gone for a year and while a good deal of his old relationships have dropped, there's still many who are around. I'd like to think I remember most of the stuff that went on back in the day, but it'd be super helpful if you could give me a hand here

Zexion knew Akiha primarily through Akiha's relationship with Axel. Shortly before he left, though, Akiha was involved in Zexion trapping the various hospital-phobic morons he lives with in Ayame's shop and subjecting them to Umeda's tender care.

Not a close relationship, really, but Zexion would remember him with a vague sense of gratitude.
