I can't believe the army families were only getting $12,000 reimbursement for their daughter's and son's deaths! Yeah, now they are bumping it up to $100,000, but if we are gonna get into a war, we should be able to correctly reimburse the families for the lives they gave to our country.

Actually, this guy who was serving as a high-ranking officer in Iraq was talking on NPR, and he said that insurance compensation for families of deceased soldiers was something in the ballpark of $250,000.

well, that is better. however, i think the soldiers are worth a little more than 250,000 to the families of the deceased.
