so i noticed that valentines day is almost here(fuck you hallmark), and yet again i'm single. what ever shall i do? i can't decide if i want to have a party to celebrate being single, which means all my non-single friends can't be invited. or maybe just having a party for everyone. or drinking myself into oblivion ( Read more... )

I went without sex for two years. I trained hard on being single, and dealing with being single. Over the years, I have seen girls that I was attracted to and considered that we could maybe have something together. I considered that having a relationship with them, could prove to be interesting. 99.9% of the time it never went anywhere, and a large percentage of that I didn't even talk to directly, I just knew of them. Anyhow, so what its valentines day, I know in grade school and such, everyone gave everyone else a valentine... and for me at least, I always wrote something special to those dear to me, and mind you I never had a g/f. Its a holiday to celebrate love, something that all humans seem to do naturally, and it doesn't have to involve your SO, because some people don't have them. Hell I have spent several V-days alone, and I couldn't care less... I spent New Years Eve alone last year, that was sort of depressing since I knew where everyone else was and having a good time.
