I worked this morning. Five hours. Just shelving. An uneventful shift, passed entirely by placing books on a shelf, one after the other, with the occasional phone call or customer thrown in. I was left entirely alone, and the freedom seemed to make the time go by faster. I was surprised when noon came and I found myself leaving.

i'm so glad you had a happy day. i'm slightly pissed that you didn't come see me instead, once the family, er, made other plans.. ;) i could totally put you up, now. (yay!!)
nick and i used to watch sunsets in the back of a uga horse farm feeding truck in that very field. your description made me feel like i was sitting right beside you, knowing exactly what you're talking about. good times.
i'm off to paint and arrange and other such moving madness. and although my immediate impulse on waking up was to call someone to come hang out while i do all that, i reconsidered and decided (since i can't have you...) that i just want some me time. quiet. peaceful. and then i found this. i love it when we think alike.
