Love, epiphanies and other cheesyness

My love sits on the edge of his shadows
Cold in the dark, but so scared of the light
Let his heat burn up my soul
But light not blind my fading sight

A little, awkward stanza to express my feelings for my Alexander.
Let’s see you try and guess what it means.

Me and you making it last all night
My heart is beating faster all the time

Although I don't exactly agree with what you said, and even though I support the idea that people should accept you for who you are, yay for you!! Good luck changing yourself. :)

I think that the stanza means that Alex is scared to let in your love, and every day you keep loving him more and more. But you hope that your love doesn't take hold of you and turn in to obsession. o__o

Heh... that's actually probably a more sensible interpretation than mine is...
Well, no, poetry is only what you make of it, so in a sense anything you see it as is right.
