It's interesting, how life moves things along. Here I am, three years after my most recent post. In that time, I've left teaching forever, gone through a second divorce, and am working in an entirely new field

Hi! I I’m sorry to hear about your second divorce. I can’t imagine how hard and stressful a divorce can be.

I’m not sure if I should be happy or sad you left teaching, but I hope you enjoy or at least tolerate your new field of work and I hope it’s financially rewarding.

I don’t have kids, but it must be amazing to see grown proper adults that you are a part of. You said you missed parts of their childhood but I imaging you were doing the best you could at the time.

Sorry my reply isn’t more in-depth but I don’t recall us ever exchanging a lot of stuff back when LJ was still a busy place so I don’t know much about you. But it’s nice to see someone post again.

thank you for taking the time to respond. The second divorce was more of a relief, actually. I didn't enjoy it by any stretch of imagination, but I was glad to stop trying to fit myself into someone else's idea of me.
