Pretty obnoxious that Livejournal decided to cut out on me and not even let me view the website directly after I was done writing a very long & involved entry last weekend. And just now it didn't restore the entire thing from the draft. So I'm not going to re-write it. I'm still annoyed

I understand your feelings about that place. I don't even listen to that kind of music so the obnoxiousness is multiplied for me.
What is the Britpop night, that sounds wonderful? I know they have a things they do monthly called "Blue Beat DC" where they play good reggae and rocksteady. I haven't been able to go yet but I'd really like to. Of course, like you said though, it seems like getting to DC is going to be an impossible feet right now. Hopefully we'll both make up eventually. Maybe we could meet up at that Britpop night together sometime.
