Charlie had left Athena's when she took off for work. He'd stopped in at the Burrow to give his mum a chance to feed him and coddle him after his trip, then made the rounds of a few of his mates who had given him money to pick up this and that while he was there. He'd called in at Gringott's to redeposit the money he'd taken out in case he'd had the opportunity to bond with a Phoenix this trip, which he didn't, and had lunch with Bill. He picked up some fruit and milk from the market, and spent the afternoon back on the Reserve catching up with his laundry, post, and cottage cleaning before showering and heading back out that evening to meet up with George for a few pints.
When his brother entered, Charlie stood up so he'd spot him and waved George over. "Merlin's pants, boy! You work more than I do," Charlie ruffled his hair.
