RP: Harvey the Wonder Hamster!

Summary: Percy has a bit of a surprise for Cho, Hermes and Tam

The responsible husband knew the decision should have been reached with a gently broached subject, a few days of debate, and an eventual mutual conclusion that they could both live with. The part of Percy that melted at anything soft and furry told him, very clearly, just do it, and Merlin knew why, but he listened. So right after work, Percy had gone into the Magical Menagerie and bought the Greater Egyptian Jerboa that had caught his eye the day he and Cho had broken the news to Jun.
He'd gotten the cage second-hand but made sure it was reliable, and had it set up in a corner of the livingroom so Hermes and Tam wouldn't be so teased by a conveniently contained snack. At least, until they could get used to him.
"Aren't you just the sweetest little thing?" Percy twittered at the rodent, who regarded him nervously at first, then hopped a few bounds on his long, spindly legs towards his extended fingers. "Hmm, Mahado?" Two fingers stroked the tiny, sliky head before it jumped out of reach. Percy was sure Cho would warm up to him eventually, but until then....
With a sigh, Percy pulled his hand out of the cage and replaced the cloth he's gotten to cover the cage during the day. It was also changed to contain the smells that we likewly to become a common part of their lives.
