So dangerously close to recording a video on how to make one-ingredient ice cream (it's bananas)...but! I shall keep my priorities in check and squeeze in a post here before the month ends (buh? already? how in the whaaaat)
..... WHOA SURREAL. I was definitely going to bother you at some point today like "I MISS SASHA ART BAWWW" or something like that. I really love your work a lot. You have such interesting ideas and concepts. ♥ AND SO STYLISH!
hnnggghhh I'm glad you're enjoying your classes. OVER SO SOON! Y'know we went to Hubble and Hudson today and it reminded me of those cooking classes you and Robert were discussing. You guys should look into that again.
Wow, so glad I could be of service then! These photos aren't the greatest quality (photographed quickly) in order to make "the deadline". (always, with the unnecessary pressure!)
Yeah, what will I do with my Saturday mornings now? This will be the first time in like...half a year that they will be free. Nooooo...OH! But it's so funny that you mentioned the H&H classes, because um, I'm taking a pickling/canning/preserving one with my dad and stepmom in August. THERE WERE ONLY THREE SEATS LEFT and so we nabbed 'em. and well, they're into that kinda thing.
and then everyone will get homemade jam for presents from then on.
:D Regardless, I'm glad to see you post something!
OH wow that's funny. That's great that you guys are doing something together. That sounds like something really useful. :D ♥ Homemade jam presents better happen. Mwahaha.
Yeah, we literally signed up for it on, like, Wednesday! woooooEEEEEEooooo can't get over it. Seems like the classes get full pretty quick in advance, which is a good thing! Another trip to Hubbell & Hudson is incredibly overdue for me.
It sounds like it was an interesting concert. I love your Jem icon by the way. Jamie and I just watched the first 5 or 6 episodes of Jem online about a week ago just out of the blue for fun. It's my kind of show, lots of pink!
It sucks that your class is just about over, but it sounds like you'll be able to do it again. It's good to be addicted to something that's constructive and good exercise to boot! Jamie did mention those cooking classes while we were at Hubble and Hudson, and that would be fun to do sometime...I'm just never sure when they're offered or how much they cost. I'm sure that it would definitely be interesting.
It was! and I forgot to mention how I felt totally comfortable there. The majority of the crowd was older, of course (I get intimidated by peers around my age). /weird
Oh Jem, so pink, so famous, so outrageous! I haven't seen the entire series (~65 eps?), but I'd like to brush up on it...sometime. Maybe I'll put it on when cleaning out my wardrobe. That will be helpful, right? :P
Oh silly, there's a class schedule right here! Yeah, they aren't exactly cheap (most seem to be about $89 a pop). But it may be worth it. Actually, I'm attending a pickling/canning/preserving one that will be held in August with my dad and stepmom. There were only three seats left when I saw it, so I'm pretty sure we got the last ones. The newest craze! Jam for EVERYONE!
You could make Jam while watching Jem! I'm not sure if Jem is the show to watch while you're cleaning out your closet though...you'll probably keep anything that's hot pink or sparkly just on principle.
Making preserves is fun! It's interesting how much of preserving is actually about the sterilization of the jars and other tools rather than what's going inside of them. Pickling would be interesting too...that sounds like a fun class!
Now I'm looking at the classes...Fish Cookery 3! Dim Sum Party! Moroccan Feast! Nom nom nom...now I'm hungry.
I can safely say that hot pink and sparkles are kept to a minumum in my closet...but I may feel encouraged to change that!
Man, am I dying for some grilled salmon! Currently on the lookout for good recipes for our grill (I think it may be a Viking!?) that is poorly neglected. No better time to start than Summer! I still have yet to try Dim Sum. It looks so small, cute, and delicious. I LOVE DUMPLINGS. Especially soup-filled dumplings with straw. aaaaaaaa
Ummm please post about this one ingredient ice cream recipe with bananas? D:
I like what's going on there in the second art pic with the girl (?) with red glasses. Got the attention of my eyes lol. That's a doodle that should be expanded on. :9
Also, grumpy man in the top corner of the other one! Why is he so grumpy? :p
It shall be done! :D Hopefully I can get around to recording it soon. (or to keep you from waiting: freeze some bananas and put them in a food processor until smooth! mmmmm...it's that simple!)
Wow, thanks! I'm surprised you were drawn to her (or what little was drawn of her XD)... She's a character from a forever-in-progress story. She may or may not be the main antagonist!!! But I'm not gonna judge; this story doesn't have the strongest of morals.
GRUMPY OLD MAN! I needed to fit a guy in there somewhere...! He's fed up with everything cute & pretty that surrounds him.
I'm glad you had fun at the concert. It sounds like an interesting concept. I'm digging the makeup you did for it! Very fun.
There will be other things to do after taiko I'm sure. It's strange when a really enjoyable class ends, it's relieving in way, you get a break and whatnot but it's sad too. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much though! :]

Yay arts! By the way, I haven't seen any new Melly arts in a while... *nudge nudge!*
It was a pretty novel idea for a concert, especially for someone known for their classic rock/pop hits. I just wonder how many people knew that it was going to be full-orchestra... XD Surprise!
Oh yeah, I'll find something else to occupy my time, no doubt! They're actually offering another round of Taiko classes starting at the end of this month, and I am tempted...but I need to see what school class(es) I'm taking for upcoming semester and see if it would work.
We should pick up our dance practice again, sometime! It's been awhile.
