You know, at first I was completely thinking that you didn't seem like the Peace Corps type. And then I thought, either you need it or it needs you (or maybe both). So, good luck with that.

i think it could be great for you. my oldest, dearest friend did it back in the late 90s... went to Nepal. alternately hated and loved it. you need to be aggressive about discussing where you want to / don't want to be posted, allegedly.

i always regret not doing PC...

looking back, i feel you can look at this prospective experience in 2 ways.

1. you are not going to make change in the world, but at least you can say that you tried

2. or you will; it is still a differnce even if you can't see it from outer space.

good luck, and don't put believe everything your PO tells you (placement officer)
