Do your lives seriously revolve around TV???

I can understand being upset about the writer's strike if it affects someone you know, but otherwise... c'mon...

I'm pissed about the writer's strike, but I'm pissed that the uber-rich production companies are refusing royalties to the writers. I'm assuming that the people you're talking about are, instead, mad that their favorite shows are going into reruns. I really think that this is one of the tactics of the companies. They're hoping that eventually the writers will be vilified enough that they'll lose all support and cave. I'm pissed that people are so shortsighted and they care more about watching their "stories" than about someone's livelihood.

Of course, I work for a labor union, so I'm biased.

Anyway, hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I'll be in E-town for a little while around Christmas. I'll give you a call.

i'm glad someone got it. yeah, i'm annoyed at the people who are more concerned with their own entertainment than the livelihood of those working to provide them with such.
people just fascinate me.

anyway, hopefully i'll be off while you're here. work's been... interesting... lately.

I'm really frustrated that this is yet another situation where the big corporations can take advantage of their workers. I think it's pretty unfair of those companies to do whatever they can to screw people out of the money they've earned.

But as far as I'm concerned, it's just giving me unexpected free time for other things ;)
