Another grad update...

I'm looking into Drexel now, as well as EVMS... but finding that I'll have to take a bunch of art classes before I even think about applying there, which seriously changes my timeline (by about a year). What I'm thinking I'm going to do is get everything in order to apply to EVMS, as well as start to take a few art classes at Millersville or HACC

What does EVMS stand for? I looked it up on google and I got Eastern Virginia Medical School. Is that right?

Oddly enough, Ash's little sister applied to go to Drexel and do art.

that's correct. there's about 20-30 programs in the US... those two just so happen to be at places i'd be interested in living / attending.

undergrad, or grad school? i'd be interested to see what she wants to go for, and what she thinks of their program. i'm supposed to be going to an information session there on the 12th of march, so we'll see what it looks like once it's not just a description on a webpage.

Undergrad. I certainly wouldn't look at her as a fount of information though. The main reason she wants to go the Drexel is because her boyfriend is going to Philly school of art and design. She wants to do magazine layout so she can be an editor for Cosmo. My bet is that she'll grow out of it within 8 months of school and switch majors. She never took any art classes in HS and just started getting her portfolio together a couple months ago
