I got back home from the mall at about 8:00...I forgot how much fun it is to spend 6 hours shopping with your best friend. I got a some new clothes, a few outfits for the spring. I also got something really sexy to wear later...when Spike got back, and even a few gifts. Everyone's been so supportive lately, so I got pretty much everyone

I swung back into the house and saw that Buffy's coat was hanging up by the door. I felt my heart quicken, just seeing that.
"'lo love," I called, stepping into the kitchen. "Buy anything nice?" I kissed the top of her head, breathing in the smell of her hair. "I got a job, you'll be pleased to know."

I smiled at the sound of his voice. "A job huh? Already?" I turned around to look up at him, lifting an eyebrow. "What kind of job?" I asked, lifting up to give him a quick peck on the lips.

"Bar work, with a bit of demon bashing." I pulled her into my arms. "Nothing too hard," I said, after I kissed her. "Unlike..." I raised an eyebrow. "How was your day?"
