I like your story. :)

I do however wonder why Dean has to feel bad about what he said to Sam, since Sam is the one who really ought to feel bad for having lied to Dean for a long time. You are writing in canon, though, since Dean is the one to apologize ;)

That said, your Sam since more symphatetic than shows version. Good :)
