Thank God I always liked ManUtd, so this is no hardship for me. I don't want to imagine my mental state had he joined ManCity, which i don't think he would have.
Anyway ... a big part of me feels the same as you do. Another part thinks - thank God it's not Lahm. Now let's hope Müller will stay a one-club player!

Btw ... there are still plenty of Schweinsteiger tricots to buy :)

I was indifferent toward Man Utd but enjoyed laughing at them whilst David Moyes was their trainer. :p (I actually prefer Man City a little, just because I had a housemate whose entire family
are Man City fans - season tickets and everything :p)

I spent some time following Basti's adventures with Utd today...wow, didn't expect it to still hurt everytime I saw him in their colours.

If Thomas leaves, I'm going to be crushed.

And I bought one yesterday, haha. I managed to find one in the only children's size (so far) that fits me, too, yay.

I don't have a Basti Bayern trikot because I thought that I would have plenty of time to get one

My thoughts exactly. Well, I have this pretty old one where the flock is already coming off, but I really wanted another one, so now's probably the time to get one. Except I don't have money right now and at least three other players I'd also really like on the back of the new jersey. He's still listed as a player in their online shop, though (and I guess if they actually remove him from that list there's always the possibility to get a personalized flock with his name and number, it's just an additional 5€ or something). I doubt they'll remove him any time soon, there are probably a lot of people who want to use that one last chance to wear his name? idk.

Apart from that, I'm just kind of heartbroken. Like, I wish him all the best, I hope this will be a great experience for him, he's given us pretty much everything, how could I not, but that's the thing. I love a lot of our players, but Basti is just special, and as much as I try ( ... )

ugh, i need to make a basti icon postingwhore July 13 2015, 18:29:57 UTC
I want a trikot from last season, though, and now it's only possible to get a personalized flock for the home trikot - and also, the sizes left, ugh. I ended up buying one from the Bild fanshop (I know, I'm a horrible person) because they had my size. S:

And yeah, definitely agree. And as someone who hasn't really been a big fan of Pep...it's just really annoying. Do you also feel that if Uli were still here, a lot of things would be different? For example, with Toni, maybe.

Na, desperate times, anything's allowed. ;) (I didn't even know they had a fanshop, but of course they do, talking shit about every player while advertising their jersey is exactly their kind of thing, haha ( ... )

Yeah, I saw the Beats advert. I've heard some people say that it probably only took like an hour for them to shoot, but who knows for sure except the people who were involved :\ It hit me right in the feels, too.

He'll do United good. I've been complaiing about how they hve zero players besides forwards for a while so... plus he gets to hang out with LvG.

Poldi's the one i'm sad for bc... idk, it seems like he's never gonna really have a place anywheres.

Oh, it's a great transfer for Utd. Breaks my Bayern-supporting heart, though. :p

And well, there's always Köln for Poldi once he's done going everywhere. XP

See, I really hate Man Utd so Basti going to them is like a huge punch to the gut. I really can't stand them and although they're building a decent squad, I don't want them to triumph. Like, I really hate Chelsea (in the PL I'm really an Arsenal fan) but like I want Basti to be happy and do well. But that also means Man Utd have to do well and just... ugh...

I'm also a bit ambivalent on Pep. I really want to like him, but then again I'm not sure what he'll do next year and my gut feeling is that he's going to Man City, which just makes me furious, because couldn't we have held on to Basti for another year then?

This whole transfer window's been a clusterfuck.

Weren't you a Tottenham fan once upon a time...? XPPP And why do you hate Chelsea? A lot of Bayern fans hate Chelsea, but I don't. I'm indifferent toward Man Utd and engaged in lots of schadenfreude the past two seasons, so I don't really mind that Basti went to them, especially because I want him to win more trophies.

I wasn't excited about Pep in the first place, so yeah, not happy about the direction the club's gone in the past two seasons, especially now that Basti's gone. (And it pisses me off how much Bayern fans on reddit worship Pep.)

Nah, I liked AvB but that's about it. I shipped him and Bale a lot :PPPPP I hate Chelsea for the style of play (I don't like Mourinho at all and I think he's a toxic influence on the sport in general, plus his time at Real Madrid), for the 2012 debacle and just... their fans have such ridiculous martyr complexes, especially in online spaces. City fans get that they'll be called "plastics" and whatever, but you do anything like call someone a Chelski fan and they blow their tops ( ... )
