I woke up to images and videos on social media about the huge explosion in Tianjin this morning. The videos are especially intense and harrowing - I'm so glad that I don't have friends or family (that I know of D:) there ( Read more... )

Same here. The saddest part is that most of the dead firefighters are only in their 20s - and some were born in only '96!

I really wish I had that kind of relationship RL, too. Fic and roleplay fill a similar role, but I'd much much much rather have the real thing.
