the joys of cross-registering for classes

Whoa. Apparently I'm in the MIT database as a student from 2002 from when I applied there for undergrad.

My MIT ID number is eight years old.

The next step is to realize exactly how old you are.

Ahh, numbers. They make everything crunchy. anonymous February 6 2010, 00:56:03 UTC
Just think, that was a third of your life ago. Of course, back then, eight years was half of your life. And, in eight more years, you will have had an MIT ID number for half of your life. I'm sure you can derive something from that. Maybe, a fractional rate of change that gets smaller as you get older. A decay constant, perhaps? (Intended in a purely mathematical sense, of course :D)

*hand shake* Welcome to the old people club,

Tomorrow is International Ice-cream for Breakfast Day. And since old people are allowed to do whatever they want...
