OH MY GOD!

I just read the foreword and first chapter of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens on Google Books. I feel vaguely concussed from the awesome and am seriously considering spending my lunch break trekking out to various bookstores in the rain to buy a copy of my very own.

I NEED THIS BOOK LIKE BURNING.

Finally watched BBC's Sherlock with the roomies on Sunday.

lolol, John is so longsuffering over everybody thinking he and Sherlock are dating.

Angelo: Sherlock, you can have anything on the menu for you and your date.
Watson: I'm not his date.
Angelo: I’ll get a candle for the table. It’s more romantic.

Not that I've been dwelling on missing two new episodes of Leverage the entire time I've been in England.

You know how you say some things with implicit periods between them for emphasis? Like:

or:

None. At. All.

Apparently in England, even with full stops between words for emphasis, the latter phrase is pronounced:

None. Ah. Tall.
