It seems like your polaroids have focus options. Do they? Am I just very behind the times in the polaroid world? XP

yes - we're using the slr family of polaroid cameras (the sonar and the 680 to be specific). they have auto-focus, but also a manual override dial.

ebay's probably your best bet - just be careful about the condition of the piece. i rarely see the slr models in antique/junk stores, though i have stumbled upon a sonar or two. i believe the land list has price ranges for various models, which is helpful at first, as a lot of the shops overprice their cameras.
