city sim game

Someone on my flist was posting incredible screens of their city in some kind of city sim game years ago. If you're reading this, what game was that? It looked awesome.

I thought it was you, but couldn't remember the timeframe and didn't want to page and page through the archives. What were the addons?

I bet it was Coyoteseven in simcity 4. You might also check out "Cities XL 2011" which makes some neat looking cities. It's a reworked version of "Cities XL" Without the 2011 tag on it. You want the 2011 tag on it, as the original version is like, this thoroughly broken version of the game from back when its developer wanted to turn it into an MMO and a lot of the game systems assume that there's going to be dozens of other people developing cities that you are connected to, and its a mess. The 2011 version is the game re-worked to be playable solo, because the MMO community/infrastructure never materialized.

ALSO! I got into a brief Sim City 4 phase myself, and found a place where I could download a Regional map made from the topography of mars, which I thought was hecka cool. I may still have the site that had that file bookmarked.
