A cloud had gathered where a plane had been & from my seat by the water, I saw the regular clouds disguise bits of it. It was dense & compact, probably due to the curvature or its distance from me, but it seemed like a pane of glass as seen from the side. It let in the sunlight, refracted enough of it to make it visible to me, & let the rest go on

Dude, what's this I hear about Mike beating you at chess... that was a lie, right?

The face up there looks just like a dude that was on a National Geographic show about heroin addicts (minus the extra eye). Pretty crazy watching someone shoot up and slump over with blood streaming down their arm... guess they can show that stuff on tv now.

Tisn't a lie & he's beat me at chess before. His mom beat me too.

Heroin addicts, that's it? I'm sure there's way worse stuff that they haven't shown on TV, and more of it than not. That might explain the stagnancy & repetitive plots in most shows.
