I'm getting a kitty. He will be a Tabby and his full name will be Noun Comma Cat. This is my valentine's present from Chris and I think this is the best present ever, especially since Chris isn't too fond of cats but knows that I love them. So incredibly sweet. I'm not a fan of Valentine's day fan.... but this is pretty awesome ( Read more... )

tidy cat odor absorbing. We like the dome litter box, but honestly, it doesn't make a different. You might want to get a pad to set it on though, cause tracked litter is inevitable.

iams kitten food. Don't get crap food, they have fillers and are bad for kitties tummies.

Laser pointer toy is great fun. just don't point in kitten's eyes. But pretty much anything they can chase is good.

if you DO declaw, do front only, that way they have defenses if they get outside. And do laser surgery. Kittens heal more easily that way. And that's something you want to wait on anyway. Not something you do with kitten. 6 months at least, but not all kitten-y.

NO YARN! no yarn. No strings that can be ingested. Bub got ahold of some thread when I wasn't looking and we ended up at the ER Vet. NO YARN. NONE.

You don't need wet food. Iams kitten has all you need, and it's a great food. The ONLY reason our cat have anything different is because Bub (are you seeing a trend here?) Has a bladder condition and needs RX food. Iams is very good foods though. Outside of that, Purina is good too. But Iams. Yes. Tidy Cat, Yes.

We have the walk in domes. They still track. Promise.

What you said about vet things, yes exactly. Choose that. Best for all.

I WOULD LOVE MEETING TIMES. We're not going anywhere all of February, so look into it and see what works. :)

Much love.

Indeed no yarn. Currently all of my knitting projects have a designated spot on the floor right beside the couch so that I can just sit down and pick up what I'm working on, but no more. Chris is wanting to rearrange the living room, so I think that's when we'll tackle the whole "get EVERYTHING off of the floor that is harmful to kitty" project.

Iams Kitten it is, then! And Tidy Cat! I also found a tracking mat to put outside the litter box in the shape of a kitty face. Mine. :)

Well, February for me is a little cramped. I'm rehearsing for Beauty and the Beast six nights a week so that makes it hard for me to leave town. :( I sent you a facebook invite! But after the show is over, aside from work, I'm as free as a clam, so there will definitely be meeting times!
