Kass had her babies! At least 5 (I have pictorial evidence of such) but I think there were at least 6 or 7. Which means Nick was wrong. She was a good girl and put them in her bed instead of any place weird, which was a relief. Awww! Okay, let's be honest, good-looking is not one of the baby rats' qualities. Cute... neither. But they are babies! Awesome! Grats, Kass! *\o/*

Just try to be careful with them, okay? (Not you, Kass, I mean Tatoe.) I had to watch a mouse kill (and/or eat) a few of her babies because they were stressed and we weren't fast enough in getting the baby mice out of the cage, when they were growing up so fast... :(

Luckily, rats are far less likely to nom on their babies. They only really do that with ones that die, and that's so that the smell doesn't attract predators.
