The only rat whose eyes haven't started to open yet is Thor. Congratulations, Nick, your rat is a slow developer.

Is Thor the one you dropped on his head?

Can you name him Miki? ♥

Ooh yes, I forgot you didn't name one yet! Miki is a great name :) Is it pronounced the same as Mickey?

And no, though I'm now not sure which one I dropped, I'm certain it wasn't Thor.

He's not *slow*. He just doesn't want to open his eyes to the reality of his hideous surrounds aka filthy living conditions, no viable sex options, rank, pawing siblings.

He just doesn't want to lose blindness as his excuse for gropings. He will no longer be able to deny that he knows where his paw is.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. It should work for him.

Your grand investment of a name? I've got him here nestled against me right now, actually. I'll take a picture of him for you after Doctor Who.

Don't subject him to Doctor Who!!!

He's asleep on his back, getting belly rubbings.

Eeeeeee~! Oh, they appear to have reached the stage of ultimate cuteness!

Thor's fine, I'm sure. Gods take longer to develop.

How's Darwin doing? Has he come to any history-changing conclusions about the nature of the universe? Or possibly stolen some from his possum pen-pal Wallace?

Darwin: http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb307/Potatoe1988/darwin.jpg

He's like Thor, but less developmentally challenged!

He discovered that pink towel, but photographic evidence suggests he wasn't the first.

He and Thor discovered the joys of belly rubs... actually, Thor did first, days ago: http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb307/Potatoe1988/shameisnone.jpg

Ahhhhh, look at the adorable little derp-face! Their heads are so disproportionally large at this stage, hee~! ...Is Miki really that much cuter than all his siblings, or is that just a good photo?

Naturally Darwin is developing spectacularly, both mentally and physically. He is by far the superior rat! *nodnod*

Ooh, ooh, please can you call one Lovelace? (After Ada Lovelace, a real person, but mostly from this: http://sydneypadua.com/2dgoggles/lovelace-and-babbage-vs-the-organist-pt-10/)

YOU! Hello :)

Tiniest baby is now named Lovelace. He is maybe the cutest in my opinion, but nobody chose him to name!

All babies now have names! Hurray!

Apparently Lovelace bit my sister. They've all been nibbling, but she says it was rather harder than that. He may be the smallest, but apparently he is savage! Rawr!
