I am using either the best or worst icon ever for this comment, can't decide... my sense of irony is tying itself in knots. XD;

OH MY GOD SO CUUUUUUUUUUTE~!! ♥_♥ ...Seriously, screw those kids, man. D:<

I know very little about dog breeds but I do admit my first thought was a terrier of some sort. And I think Banjo is an excellent name, personally!

Also HI HOW ARE YOU TATOE LONG TIME NO SEE! What's up? :DD

I am very excellent! I have a job I love (even if it doesn't pay very much) and I'm house-sitting for my boss for a month which means I get free food, free internet, free television, free Netflix, and a short-term loan of a menagerie of adorable animals that are always very happy to see me. Life's pretty good! :D

That does sound good! I'm on break from uni right now. My neck/upper back hurt and I'm pretty sure it's somehow the puppy's fault...

*Dies*

SO CUTE!!! Norfolk Terrier seems like a good guess, my first guess was cairn terrier mixed with ???

But definitely not shi-tzu. His fur doesn't look nearly long and kinky and thick enough, and he doesn't have enough of a smooshy face.

Cairn terrier is another possibility, although they have pointy ears and his colouring is more similar to a Norfolk. Cairn terriers have similar face structures as puppies as he does, though the Norfolks do too.

OH MY EFFING GOD. HE IS SO CUTE! I WANT TO HUG HIM CAN I VISIT YOU AND HUG HIM PLZ? KTHX T_T

But holy crap the back story on the little guy is so sad T_T WTF PEOPLE LIKE THAT. I want them to be thrown down hills and drowned in the river until they can barely be revived, and see how they like it. FUCKERS. (I threw in the drowning because I think they deserve it)

lol for some reason I keep reading (and thinking) Bojo when I see Banjo. No idea why.

As for his breed-- yeah he doesn't look very Shih Tzu to me, either, but he does look terrier of some sort. How big is he? And how old? Out of curiosity, do you have any pictures of him from the side and standing so his profile/the shape of his snout is visible?

I'm not that great at breeds but I like to guess regardless lol

GAH SO BLOODY CUTE OMFG!!!!

Hmm... you know, I almost wonder if he has a bit of Corgi in him. His coloring is similar and he has the short little legs and the long tail that curls back down (although his legs look longer than a corgi's, but that could be another breed mixed in)

His face shape is quite different from a Corgi's and the curl of his tail and the colour of his fur match a Norfolk Terrier's. That said, the white bits on the dog at the top are very similar to his. He even has the little white tail tip. So there may be a little Corgi in there... there's certainly something.

Aww, looks like a young version of the dog my mother's friend has, with the fur and the white and the structure of face and ears. Hers is a wire-haired dachshund mixture, but I guess if Banjo grows bigger, that's unlikely. :)

Also, Banjo is not a bad name, I think. More timeless than other stuff. You could try to rename him to Ukulele, but that would only be for kicks, I guess ;D

He isn't shaped anything like a dachshund, so I think that's unlikely.

I could rename him Ukulele and call him uke for short :D
