Geez, it's like a couple of steps forward then a step back at the moment. I've gotten spooked by the recent aftershocks, just when I was starting to relax just a little (by not wearing a bra to sleep for the first time since Saturday or dreaming about earthquakes). Gosh darn it ( Read more... )

My ladylikeness astounds me too....

I went into the city today to go to Alice's. It looks so much better than I imagined it did because of the news coverage. Still heartbreaking because some buildings are down and some are unsafe (Burgers and Beers!) but for the most part, I was impressed by how much is still standing. I was at the Bus Exchange too, an hour after it opened and all seemed well.

I'm starting to feel more relaxed too, but in a 'oh god, we'll all relax and then something will happen' paranoid way. Argh.

Good luck at work, Jen. I am sure the presence of your salads will bring happiness to many!

I got a bunch of horror films. I am nothing if not predictable. It made me so happy that it was open though :D

And I have Hershey's chocolate. It's...not great, but if you want some and you want to come here to get it, it's on offer! After Cadbury's huge chocolate blocks, Hershey's seems soooooo small.

I feel like I have been going insane over here as well. Argh. Hope today except the Rodgers airport curse has kicked in and the plane is late.

Your poor nerves. I will squish you to my bosom. I'm glad you still have a job but sucks that it sucks, that it shakes so much.. I have anxious dreams about aftershocks last night and i haven't even BEEN there. gnfasdjlgn.
