“GO WASH YOUR HANDS, IT’S NOT SANITARY TO EAT WITHOUT WASHING YOUR HANDS. YOU DON’T WANT A STOMACHACHE, DO YOU? NOW GO.” Key waved his hands and tried to push his group members away from the table and in the direction of the restaurant’s washroom.
“Please speak softer, we’re in a fancy restaurant.” Onew looked around nervously, even though nobody was there, embarrassed that they would be heard being lectured by Key so publicly.
“I don’t give.” But Key lowered his voice, just for the sake of it,”…Now go!”
“Umma~ but why does Jonghyun hyung get to stay to use your special wet wipes and not me?” Taemin pouted cutely.
“That’s cuz…cuz…” Key was at loss for words, he didn’t know how to respond to that without making his Taeminnie sad, he wouldn’t want him sulking throughout the dinner, it was their 900th day celebration meal afterall, and Key wanted it to be perfect. Jonghyun stuck his tongue out childishly at the others behind his boyfriend’s back.
“Hey! Did you see what Jonghyun just did? He stu-“ Taemin pointed and started to complain, but was cut off when Onew and Minho grabbed both of his arms to drag him away.
“Come on, Taemin, let’s just go wash our hands.” Minho muttered.
After watching the boys turn the corner and into the long halls of the dimly lit resteraunt, Key felt a small tug on his jacket. He turned and looked at the boy who did so, a smile naturally blooming on his face, highlighting his sharp, pretty cheekbones.
“I was just acting, you know.” Key giggled and sat down on to a chair next to Jonghyun, who wrapped one arm around his boyfriend’s waist.
“You did a good job of making them finally leave us alone.” He turned his head to whisper softly into Key’s ear, making the diva giggle furiously again.
“I know.” Key reached for Jonghyun’s hands and started playing with his fingers, smoothing out every delicate crease with his thumb,”…you know what’s really amazing?”
“What is?” Jonghyun used his free hand to turn Key’s face over to look at him.
“That…we’ve been together ever since our debut, 900 days, time really did fly.” Key smiled softly.
“Well, Did you ever regret a moment of all the 900 days spent being with me?” The dinosaur smiled cheekily. Key smacked his chest playfully.
“Of course not, silly!” He laughed.
“Hmm…900 days spent with me, huh?” Jonghyun pushed the back of Key’s head until their foreheads were pressed against one another’s, the tip of their noses touching.
“Yup.”
“900…” Jonghyun repeated and stared into Key’s gaze.
“…And counting?”
“And counting.” Jonghyun whispered. They both tilted their heads so that their lips could meet.
“DUUUUDE.” A foreign voice sounded in the room. The couple jumped up and turned to see who disturbed their sweet moment. It was none other than Onew, with Taemin and Minho on either side of him.
“I KNEW YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO DO THIS WHILE WE WENT AWAY.” Taemin stomped forward to plop into a chair. The other guys weren’t far behind him.
“I can’t help it.” Jonghyun smiled and patted Key’s thighs.
Minho mimicked himself vomiting.
“Dude. We know you guys have this undying love for each other, but really?” Onew shook his head and sighed deeply, “Hopeless.”
“Sorry, we won’t do anything today, then. It IS our 900th dayversary today.” Key promised. The three boys nodded cluelessly.
Little did they know, Jonghyun and Key’s hands reached under the table cloth and their fingers intertwined secretly and comfortably together.
