Jack's heart, blood, breath, world stopped in that moment. He was so close to Elisabeth's lips he could see only her, feel only her sweet breath. In his mind's eye, he leaned a blurry blonde hair closer, raising lips to hers and from that point, consummation, swift, thorough, passionate consummation of his deep, abiding lust would ignite as quickly as he, Captain Jack Sparrow, could identify the real, not rum double, Lizzie.
He was singularly stunned after awakening to smoke from leaping flames to learn the love of his life (Bloody Pirate!) had plundered the rum while he slept.
