Every single day I find new and different levels of suckitude. This also happens to be Sue #55 (...yay?). Why I didn't say anything at 50... I really have no idea.

Why must so many Sues succumb to this "Just like Jack" phenomenon? Do people really think that in order to be appropriate matches for each other, a pair must look, talk, dress, work, and act exactly the same? I've seen one author go to such lengths as to make sure all her original characters (she had three) were exactly the same height as the guys she was preparing to set them up with. I wonder, does she go up to prospective boyfriends with a yardstick, or just stand close enough to him to compare?

Maybe her crew mutined because she fought people she literally bumped into and actually cared that there was someone more 'crazy' then her. Fuck, Jack wouldn't care. He'd throw an apple at her and leap off a building.

In the dark of the night This line made me have flashbacks to the Anastasia movie that Dreamworks put out years ago.

Shit, I was having the exact same thought nanoseconds before I read your commentary. It was really weird.

...but now you have to include innocent punctuation marks too?

There should be an activist group aimed at defending the rights of punctuation marks in fanfiction. These poor exclamation marks suffer a lot of abuse. Same goes for asterisks and even these ~ things.

"Me second guess was that you were a transvestite."

Now Jack stopped and gaped at her, barely remembering to lift his sword to parry her still vicious attack. "What in hell, my dear lady, led you to that demented conclusion?!"

*facepalm*

"Yeh want me. Admit it! I turn yeh on!"

That line is eerily reminscent of Year Eight. "Oooh, I know you like him! Admit it! Hee hee hee!"

He pressed up tight against her and said extremely sexily into her ear...Wow. Such outstanding adjectives. So outstanding in fact, that I've never even heard of the word, ' ( ... )

...Anyone watch Buffy or Angel? Remember the infamous 'Liam' accent of period-clothing Angel?

YEAH.
