1. Based on vampires of Vampire Knight. The level system, supernatural powers, etc is the same.
2. However, their character is still the same as it is in Prince Of Tennis series, or as close to canon as it can be. (Atobe is still the same diva, Ryoma is still the same brat, Dan is still as cute as ever but he’s dangerous now.)
3. They have the same levels as the vampires of Vampire Knight.
4. Vampires in levels from A to C are born to that level, and stay on it for their whole life. Level D can go to E, but once you’ve completely gone to Level E, you can never come back.
5. They are NOT allowed to drink human blood without permission. School offers things called blood tablets. Vampires mix them on drinks and it's almost the same as real blood. However, it doesn’t taste exactly like real blood, so you’re free to complain that you don’t like it. However, if you drink human blood without explicit permission of the human in question, you will be punished harshly.
Born as vampires:
Level A - Purebloods
The most powerful ones of all vampires. They are extremely RARE, a very small group, and all the other vampires should respect them. Purebloods have the power to command all vampires, though some Ex-humans (on Level D) do not listen nor show any respect to them at all. Levels B and C must do whatever they say, there are no exceptions to this rule in their levels.
The Pureblood who bites a human becomes his Master and the new vampire is the Pureblood’s Servant. Servant can never kill his Master, not even if Master tells him / her to do that. They can hurt the Pureblood physically, but actual killing is absolutely impossible.
If one kills or even harms a Pureblood, that person will get killed. It’s a forbidden act; they are like the royalty of vampires. If a Pureblood kills a Pureblood, it’s just as bad an act, but everyone just gets afraid of getting killed by the Pureblood, so that one is out of trouble.
Some pureblood powers:
+ They are the only type that can turn a human into a vampire.
+ They have healing powers but in order to heal you, they will have to be almost as close as to kiss your skin.
+ If they ever get physically hurt, they will heal fast.
+ They are above all other vampires. Everyone must obey whatever they say.
+ They have one “superpower” too. E.g. one controls wind, another controls shadows etc.
+ They can erase and return your memory with many ways and for many purposes.
Level B - Aristocrats
The vampire elite who are born as vampires and control only one superpower / skill. It can be something like full control of ice, fire, whips of ground or blood, electric, lightning, water … etc. Killing with a single glare is one possibility too. However, make sure the skill / superpower you choose isn’t too big for an Aristocrat. Their skills can’t be as powerful as Pureblood skills.
However, we don’t want five vampires who control ice, so check this list before you decide your character’s skill:
List of Taken Skills Level C - Commons
The common vampires with no superpowers like Levels A and B have. They are born as vampires and they should respect Levels A and B, but of course some of these common ladies and men do not respect them.
Those who once were humans:
Level D - Ex-humans, turned & safe
When a Pureblood bites a human, the human becomes a Level D. After this, there’s a choice this new vampire must make. Either he or she drinks the blood of the Pureblood who turned him or her into a vampire, or doesn’t drink it and falls to Level E. Usually falling there happens slowly; it’s painful, and you don’t want to go there.
If they decide not to drink the blood of that Pureblood, they will eventually fall to Level E. Blood of another Pureblood keeps them on Level D for some time, human blood doesn’t help at all (however it does keep their thirst for blood away for a while). Drinking from a Pureblood is of course a forbidden act, though, and vampires of Levels B and C will not tolerate it at all. Of course there are also purebloods who don’t allow you to drink their blood. Maybe they just wanted to drive you into madness.
Level Ds are always safe from vampire hunters, and if they drink that certain Pureblood’s blood even once, they will stay on this level forever.
A turned human is the Servant of the Pureblood who turned them. They can never kill the Pureblood, their Master, not even when told to do so. Physically harming the Master, however, is possible.
Some Level D bodies resist blood tablets and that’s a serious problem. They need to feed themselves from other vampires or innocent humans if they can’t drink those tablets.
If you are a human and a Pureblood bites you, you’ll turn into a vampire. This may take only days but some human can resist the change so much that it will take years before they turn into a vampire (3 years max.).
Level E - Ex-humans, turned
Those who didn’t have the chance or the will to drink from the Pureblood who turned them into a vampire. Becoming a Level E takes a LONG time, is EXTREMELY painful, and gets you added to the list of vampire hunters. They’re in complete madness and most likely get shot when someone sees them. Even vampires are allowed to kill them.
Vampire hunters have WANTED - posters of them. They can pretend to be almost normal humans or vampires but when they get you into an alley, they show their true (ugly) nature and attack you. If the victim is not prepared or saved by someone, they’ll probably get killed. Level E vampires are dangerous and furious and have no humanity left in them.
