I got my flight plan the other day. I'm going to Estonia, Finland and Sweden; all at the expense of my generous debate team. I plan to get expensive vodka in Finland and visit the ABBA museum in Sweden. There is nothing famous or worth seeing in Estonia. are you going to stockholm? because then you'd perhaps run across my Johnny Depp/Ewan MacGregor-meets-computer-geek-looking boyfriend, and that'd be strange.

and yes. homelessness is terrible. understatement of the century.

have you read Nickle and Dimed? it sort of touches on that, among other things.

You must be a doctor, I am going to Stockholm. Stop reading my mind and taking pieces of my soul with your x-ray machine! Perhaps I can search for this Jewan DepGregor, if he isn't too busy giving 100% of his yearly income to the brutal socialist government of Sweden.

Theres quite the buzz around campus on said book, I have yet to read it. However, I do commend it for taking the same bold anti-homelessness stance that I have. I'm also thinking of writing about how Nazism is bad, but I don't know I want to rock the boat, you know? While, again, I haven't read this book, I imagine it talks more about the current situation of the lower income citizens and their fleecing by corperate America. This would be very interesting and congruous with my latest anti-economy ramblings. Currently, I've been reading more along the lines of Chomsky's overarching political principles as to what causes poverty, through imperialist actions and so on. Perhaps a brief synopsis is in order for Nickel and Dimed?

seeing as you're part of NORML (assuming facebook doesn't lie), you've heard of Barbara Echenrechenohfuckican'tspellhername. =C

basically, this woman, with a number of degrees and academic accomplishments, decides to go for a period of time on only minimum wage jobs, to see if a decent lifestyle is somehow possible on the meager income they provide. and, you guessed it, it's not. she goes homeless for a while and actually loses money (making less at a day at wal-mart than the rent of her hotel room).

and yeah, taxes in Sweden suck hard, apparently. =/ so just be on the lookout for my DeppGregor-man if you're in the area of Enskede. and "pitt" is Swedish for penis.
