I think it's lame. Part of going to see a movie before it drops on dvd is laughing with the auidence.

I think Kevin Smith panders to the fan boys a little too much, he also has a smell of desperation about him going back to the film universe (that he said he was done with after the Jay & Bob movie) after his first flick outside of that world... died.

I love his classic films, and I'll go see this and listen to the commentary of the dvd but in the movies... please.

I agree that it's lame, but I also agree that it's a very smart financial move to do it. He wins and the fanboys win... those who don't care about the commentary don't have to go twice. However if it turns out that this is happening instead of having commentary on the DVD, I'll be pissed!

Apparently the reason for making another one after the Jay and Bob movie was because he promised Jason Mewes he'd do another if he got off the drugs...
