MORE knitting lesbians...

... which is fabulous.

In other news, this knitting lesbian wants to knit something for her non-knitting lesbian best friend, and cannot find the pattern she seeks.
I had sketched out a plan and made a prototype of a shrug for Bexy, but upon seeing something on Knitty.com, and someone else's interpretation of it on a loom here I decided it could ( Read more... )

Okay, so now I'm going to totally seem like a stalker, but I came to see a little bit of who you are to see if we had similar interests, and I think we do. Except I don't knit. But I do love Mike Myers and Futurama like buttah, like a big stick of buttah! Do you do other crafty hobbies?

lol- no, now I seem like a stalker, too- which, really, I totally am, except in a completely benign way. I also went to see your interests and 'friended' you! And spent the last hour joyfully reading limericks and stories.

As for crafts- I bead, and sew, and cook- knitting has just been the latest passion. I write sporadically, and doodle frequently but not skillfully. And you?

Oh, yay! I'm so glad! I have friended you, too. :)

I bead, too! My aunt is in wholesale, so omygod, I have tons and tons of beads. Possibly more than I will ever have time to use. I crochet some, but apparently am too dumb for two needles. I can not draw at all! You're so lucky to be able to doodle, whatever your skill level! I sew, although mostly just to quilt or occasionally if I want something for a costume that I can't find anywhere. I have only recently learned to cook at all. Up until six months ago, I was the world's worst cook. For some reason, moving back to California also enabled me to cook things without setting off the smoke detector.

lol- I always start a new project and buy tons of supplies, then move on to something else, so I also have many many many beads. I'm too clumsy to use any needles, really, which is why I loom knit!
That's cool that you quilt- it's not something I've shown any skill at. My sewing is limited to making little toys for the dogs or hand stitching up a purse lining or felting project or something. I hope to take lessons and learn to use a machine sometime soon. Also, good for you for learning to cook! Isn't it fun? I'm so excited- I am supposed to get my new pressure cooker tomorrow! Yay kitchen gadgets!
