I suspect that I have a reputation for secrecy. With that in mind, here's the scoop on what's been going on with me of late (forgive me if this is Old News to any of you

23 tons of positivity headed at you from Positivity Central. I'm excited for you. As a fan of "shaking it up," I can only see all of this as a chance to utterly recalibrate yourself.
I'm sorry to have missed the last show, but it conflicted with "Midsummer Night's Dream" as performed by North Eugene High School.
At any rate, I detect Very Bright Things hovering nearby for you. So many changes at once usually shakes all of the dust out.
Oddly, I was thinking about you yesterday... I can't remember what triggered it. It could have been Buckaroo Banzai or "Better Off Dead," but the actual memory was of receiving that Alumni book in the mail and seeing that you'd listed yourself as a "writer." In that moment of memory, I fully re-experienced the sense of joy I felt when I read that. I'm feeling it again now. ;)
And, not that we're exactly the hang-out-weekly sort of friends, but if you need help with anything, say the word.
Thank you :) And though we are not the hang out weekly types, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't hang out once in a while...I'd love to fumble through the whole twenty years of catching up thing, especially since we live in the same town again.
True enough! It would almost be weird if I managed to hit the one-year marker without actually having a 30-minute conversation with you. Except that I'm a near-hermit... so it isn't all that weird.
I am glad you are making an assload of lemonade out those lemons.
I'm glad you're creating, crafting and thinking BIG.
I'm glad you're in a happy and supportive relationship.
I'm even more happy to see the things I value greatly in you...(your vision, pluck and creativity) have been tempered and intensified.
This is why you are still one of my original heroes. Bruce Wayne AND Batman, both. The real person and the superheroic one that sparked my imagination and inspired a pockmarked college frosh to think BIG too.
I, myself, am in the process of putting my entire life into storage as I prepare to wade off into the next two years of rotations and residencies not knowing where I'll end up. It's scary and exciting.
