I like this a whole lot. I'll probably save the steps to use again. I had to actually open PS and go through the tutorial to see what part did what, because there were no progress shots. And I don't know what you mean by going over the lips with a round brush... with what? A paintbrush set to some colour? The burn or dodge tool? So I left that part out.

I'm not good at explaining things. that's why I stated that you need basic knowledge of PS, I made it as simple as I could.

Oh, I have more than basic knowledge. It's just that when there aren't progress shots, it's very hard to visualise a stage. I like to learn techniques from tutorials, rather than just having a list of steps that I go through when I want it to look a certain way. I like to understand what each step does. Actually following this one inspired me to try a whole lot of others, using the same image, which was interesting. Here's what I came up with :) The two icons with textures there aren't really my style at all, but it was a good learning process.

the reason that I have no visual shots is because I did this VERY quickly. what I mean is in the brush section, you should have a round brush. lower the size to around 3, and use the color white on the lips (new layer) and set the layer to overlay.. I really can't make it any simple, I suck at explaining things! and what you came up with is pretty:D
