The subject is: Hogwarts Ghosts. You can use all the ghosts, or just pick one or two, your choice.

The first character is Draco Malfoy. The pairings are:
1. Draco Malfoy/Bill Weasley sweetlydarkjenn2. Draco Malfoy/Seamus Finnegan

Thanks for joining. I'll be putting the names next to the pairings asap. And thanks for the icon-offer. I'd love some icons, if you could make me two or three? I was thinking of two characters on an icon and Potter's pairs on it. I'm just not that good in making manips myself.

Just wanted to note that on the "About" section of the community information, you misspelled encouraged. It would be a good idea to change that, as people tend to associate misspellings with the quality of a community.

I want to take the pairing Draco Malfoy/Gilderoy Lockhart. With the short time span do we need this beta'd? I would have it beta'd before posting it anywhere besides here or my journal, but I'm afraid two weeks sometimes is pushing the envelope.

My main reason for joining this group was to practice writing two abnormal pairings without screwing over canon and characerization. I love the idea of being able to write rare pairings and such.

I guess I could suggest a longer time period. I didn't want it to be too long, because I want to keep this light and simple, but I like to have my work betaed before posting as well. I guess if the other members agree, we could increase the time with a week or so. And your name will be posted next to the pairing asap.

Even with two weeks (with my time schedule I might not be able to get it done right away), but I should be able to get the story at least a quick beta most of the time.

Also, if say there was a time period where I could not participate would this be acceptable if I gave the group/you fair warning time enough before hand?

Usually on my own journal I don't worry about beta'ing until I want to actually put everything together and archive it somewhere else. I like keeping my WIP's on my journal. I like the time frame, but maybe in the group's discription put a message about beta'ing-you would like it to get done, but if you really can't do that proofread it very well or something to that extent. That would be my suggestion anyways.

I've decided to just wait on it. This'll be the first challenge, so we'll see how everything goes. If many of us are having difficulties with the time-frame, I can always increase it with the next challenge.

Um, I guess if nobody else picks Draco/Blaise by March 1, you could claim it as your second pairing. For now, I'll just put your name next to the Draco/Bill pairing ok?
