Hey, thanks for dinner last night, Hermione. It was brilliant. Maybe I ought to learn to cook? I'm all right with drinks, after all. I just don't really get what all the different spices are for, so many of them look the same to me

Why not try your hand at it? I can lend you a book or two and it'll tell you what the spices are and how to use them.

And I thought as much. That's quite something you managed to pull off; I'm very proud of you.

I think I'll need more kitchen...gear. Ron and I have two pots, one for soup and one for fry-ups. And a spatula. At least, I think it's a spatula.

I'm surprised you never had an inkling. Looks like I'm still pretty good at keeping secrets.

I'm not sure you need much more, really. A couple of sharp knives are essential, and maybe a clean mortar and pestle depending on what kind of spices you want to use.

You can be very poker-faced when you want to. And I suppose I thought you'd tell me about something like that.

I don't need a.. a blender thing? Tongs?

You're not hurt, are you? I only told Remus, because I wasn't sure it would work out. And it didn't, for a while.

A year? Well, I guess I don't really know the average. Now I just have to figure out to do with it.
